Copenhagen, Denmark

The King's Garden

Other days spent in Copenhagen were full of historical and cultural discoveries, walks and picnics in the surroundings of beautiful and rich Danish nature and multiple tryings to understand what makes Dans  happiest people in the world and what lifestyle do they promote. Before coming here of course I did some research about their super strange sometimes even hilarious language phonetics, the history of vikings and I did open the Hyugge books that were laying in my little library untouched since I received them. As I supposed at that time they held all the answers that I needed.
But, unfortunately, all this research was meaningless, since all the answers are hidden in those small morning coffee rituals outside our hostel. We had them every morning. Together with Laura, as clock beats the 8 o'clock we take shower, dress up and head downstairs to order that black coffee with ice. Just sitting outside like this drinking coffee, observing the casual busy morning in Copenhagen makes us realise this city is full of calmness and not caring what to dress. Here suddenly Danish women passes us, waring long, slim effortless dress, no bra whatsoever, carrying huge tote bag , it seems like she's heading to work. Her look tells us she is probably working in some boutique, or owns a store since wearing no uniform. Another thing I noticed as going further the main street a lot of Danes actually wear sneakers , most of them which are dirty, again I understood another truth about these people, they don't care. They actually don't care about how clean or how dirty their sneakers are. And another answers is hiding there as well, which was obvious, most Danes prefer sneakers since they're riding their bikes. It is not secret, they're cycling during cold season too and physical exertion releases the happiness hormones. To put simply, everyone of us need to learn how not to care about other opinions, and what to dress everyday, to impress someone and start exercising.:D After all, we only create stress by ourselves by making rules and principles and constantly putting oneself under pressure.
Now enough about serious stuff, I want to let you know, what are the other head-to destinations in Copenhagen to make your trip fulfilled.
We visited two castles Rosenborg and Kronborg (the address written down below) and I do recommend visiting them too while on your stay. Only like this you get to see the history of this country by your own eyes. The entrance to both castles is payed so be prepared to get that Krone out. To get to Rosenborg on the way we passed the Kings gardens which was astonishing. It's huge in size,  spacious, clean, not crowded, just brilliant.
As Denmark and especially Copenhagen is home of multiple museums and galleries, make sure to leave some time for that. Even though we had 3 more days there, we managed to leave some time for one more, called Glyptotek. I liked the museum, however it was super hot inside, I was not prepared fo that I must say.
Another thing we that was on our list, was to get out of the centre of the city and move further away, at least for a bit. The first place appeared to be the Christiana region, where exist no laws as they do sell weed there on every corner and exposed therefore there they didn't let us take pictures and to be honest, this place just freaked me out. Although Christiana is really famous between tourists and locals me and Laura literally spent there 5 mins, turned around, went back to metro station and returned to the main street. There is no photo from that place, but make sure you check our vlog to understand what it was like.
Another location was even further away and it already had different feeling. There were many kebab and Arabic markets, Arabic dress shops and boutiques, and they didn't look like Scandinavian ones but more simple I would say. There was one street with restaurants and we were super hungry so just decided to try our luck and sit at one pizza, burger place that we saw at that moment. They did serve us gluten-free burger with chicken and vegan cheese, instead bread they used mushroom, which was an excellent idea! And we ordered some salat on side to share instead of the oily fries. The food was super delicious! and the price further from city was not high so it was a win-win-win situation on our last evening there.

For the end, I would like you to enjoy the photos and make sure to check our vlog too to get the full experience. Most importantly tell me, what you guys think about the Copenhagen posts. Also tell me what we missed to visit and what we should visit on our second time there.
As promised, our hostel - Steel House, located in centre centre of Copenhagen, every main spot can be reach by foot or bike, If you want to go to further spots like we did, you will have to youse metro.:)
