Vienna, Austria

The Austrian fields

sooo as I've already shared the pictures from the first day in Vienna. And as you remember promised to share some of the coolest places to dine in if you want to get that perfect Austrian coffee culture experience. The recommendations of the coffee shops are all at the end  so make sure you check them out before actually visiting, and now let's talk a bit about other must see in the capital of Austria.
On our second day there we started by visiting one of the most significant St Peter's cathedral in the center of Vienna. It has undergone the fire, and on my first visit in 2011, the half of this amazing building was covered in black like ashed colour, therefore returning back once more and looking at it, was quite surprising as the church has been all restored. We also had an opportunity to take some pictures from the roof as the most beautiful view is all seen especially from that point.
Just after we got out of the church we were feeling quite hungry so decided to go to one place, we notices when we were up at the roof. As we were standing one of the highest points in the capital all cafes were clearly layed out below and in our minds stuck one rooftop cafe a few blocks away from the church and that happened to be our place for lunch in next 10 minutes. (was quite difficult to find it among so many other cafes). There I finally got to try the Austrian strudel  with goat cheese as my girls ordered the traditional apple strudel. It was amazing!  Starting from the view ending up with all the flavors, it was just lovely. The place is located in the hotel therefore not just any people usually enter the rooftop bar as the places is quite disclosed to the public.
Straight after that, we took a stroll around this part of the center, visiting some bookstores, souvenir shops and a the end we happened to visit just random sunflower garden out there in the city. The place was just magical as you can see from all the pictures we've taken there. Really not sure how to get there though, as we ourselves just literally got lost on that point and just went where our feet took us.
As it started to get darker outside we happened to find another garden, which by the way was something that I have visited before and was one of those things that made me want to return here again. The rose park, whatsoever, was not a rose park at all this time as all the roses were already stopped blooming and therefore half of the beauty was gone. But  the pink sky and the beautiful scenario that was left, did their job. I was just amazed and in piece with everything and with everyone.. Again, Vienna, you just magical piece of nature and art..
The aftermath you might not see this time, cause we were out of space in our camera and therefore didn't take pictures but we as well randomly found ourselves in open cinema evening with lot's of food stands, champagne , little tables everywhere and beautifully dressed guests. The whole day in my opinion was a huge success and gave us quite many surprises that we will never forget.
